BACKGROUND Funding by senior governments for the five Energy Information/Action Centres terminates March 31, 1984. ‘Centre projects are underway and have been well received by homeowners, community groups and the business community. More remains to be done. Continued funding for the Port Coquitlam Energy Infermatioa/Action Centre after March 1984 will ensure the expansion of these services involved with reducing energy consumption within our municipality. - *NOTE* “LE the program is extended as Proposed in the resolution, the City faces the following continuing costs: a. 50% of salary costs = $27,000 per year b. loss of interest on the money tied up in the resale value of the house.
