Cause of fire is unknown. $1,000 damage to a home possible cause, a lighted cigarette thrown into a cardboard box where wood and paper were stored for a Fireplace. $2,288 damages to a car caused by a flooded carburator. 4 Alaris ringing in schools all false alarms and one in an apartment. — 43 Inhalator calls, 26 home emergencies consisting of asthmatic attack, patient hyperventalating, convulsions, heart attacks, breathing problems and seizures. Attended 2 recreation accidents, man overcome by paint fumes, 5 overdoses of alcohol, 2 people with problems at school, 4 motor vehicle accidents, 2 people hit by cars in separate accidents and rescued a child from a locked car. As of the 15th of March Mr. L.E. (Les) Schumacher will replace Mr. Ross Dunbar as Fire Prevention Officer.
