THE CORPORATION GF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM - 3 - ITEM IV - Continued The Committee recommends that access to the south lane be cut off along the edge of the park as shown in the sketch. Because of the configuration of the driveways off the lane, it is not possible to close the lane without exten- ding the closure for a distance along the property line of the lot to the south of the park. The cost of approximately $300.00 could be taken from the uncommitted funds in the Public Works Capital Account. ITEM V Re: Local Improvements on Lobb Avenue A petition has been received for local improvement storm sewer, pavement and curb along Lobb Avenue between Shaughnessy Street and Mary Hill Road. A copy of the petition is attached. A similar petition was received in 1974. The Committee recommends that Lobb Avenue Local Improvements be next on the priority list after the three which are being considered for this year and that the Engineer proceed with a preliminary estimate. The Committee also recommends that Council proceed with local improvements on Essex Avenue and Newberry Street as previously reported by the Engineer and that the local improvements for St. Anne Street be dropped. Copies of the previous reports are attached. Peters, P. Eng., FEP/vw City Engineer. Attached.
