During the Public Hearing for that application, neighbourhood residents were concerned with the number of additional vehicles that would be using the lane for access to new development. As a result of the public input, the developer of that project agreed to landacape the lane right-of-way and alter the building design so that access to the underground parking garage would be located from Welcher Avenue. In order to maintain consistency with the neighbouring project, the developer of this subject application will also be required to landscape the lane right-of-way immediately south of the property for pedestrian and emergency vehicle access only. In order to ensure that the lane right-of-way is properly maintained, a restrictive covenant stating such terms and conditions will be required.
