Recycling Transfer Station.

That the City construct the Recycling Transfer Station on the southeast
corner of 1675 Broadway Street.

That the City construct the permanent access bridge to 1675 Broadway
Street at this time at an estimated cost of $30,000.

That funds for the bridge be taken from the $400,000 earmarked from Tax
Sale Reserve for Recycling Equipment Purchase.

From the Deputy City Clerk, July 18th, 1991 regarding Recycling Transfer
Station - Award of Compactor Equipment and Haulage Contract.

That a model UP4CC Compactor be purchased for the Recycling Transfer
Station from Smitty's Disposal Service Ltd. at a cost including installation

and taxes of $34,702.25.

“That the haulage Contract between the Recycling Transfer Station at 1675.
Broadway Street and the City's Sorting/Marketing Contractor, Environmental
Technologies Ltd. , Richmond, BC, be awarded to Smitty's Disposal Service Ltd.

at an approximate one year cost of $36,000.

. That funds for the purchase of the Compactor come from the $400,000
earmarked from Tax Sale Reserve for Recycling Equipment Purchases and. the
funds for the haulage contract come from the Recycling Operatiag Account. —
