-. Andrew and Jerry attended three evening courses at Douglas College
on Adolescent Delinquency, namely:

3. Communication with Adolescent Delinquents

33 year old male volunteer helped supervise several nights - talked to
kids re job hunting and crime - has'a lot of personal experience - felt
he was helping repay the benefit he got from a Drop-In Centre in Vancouver
as a teenager.

Andrew attended Community Volunteer Meeting - met two interested people.

Applied for 0.F.Y. grant for jobs for 8 kids for over 16 weeks starting.
May 5th ~ to clear some City land for park area.

Male ‘visited requesting help for friend on drugs - advised ~ no follow-up.
Visit from two middle-aged ladies requesting drug information - given.
‘Laceration - phoned family: doctor personally, who handled immediately.

Appendicitis: diagnosed in one regular (nc insurance) at 12:30 a.m. ~
arranged transportation to and follow-up at R.C.H. emergency. -

“Two "new" couches acquired.
Andrew generated article on House in local newspaper.

Talked down of young girl freaked out on drugs.
