‘DEAR ABBY: I am a widow, 79. I live in the same apart-
ment building with a very fine gentlemen. We've become
‘very friends. He is married but has a legal separation
from his wife. She won't consent to 4 divorce unless he gives
her a very large settlement, which he doesn't want to do as
he figures he may outlive her. (She's 82 and he's 83.)

Tam not entirely at ease with this man since J am afraid
‘his wife might sue me, and I have a pretty nice savings ac-
count, She's very clever and I have heard that she still
watches hint like a hawk. :

He takes me out to dinner, and I have him in for meats, ©
We play a little cards, watcha little TV, and when it comes,

to romance, he is unbelievable! 1 think you get the picture,
but I'm not looking for trouble -- just companionship.

already realize it's not going to last.
