Eng., City Engineer SUBJECT: PROPOSED CEDAR TREE SCREENING - 2500 BLOCK GORDON AVENUE (Public Works Commitice Meeting of April 26, 1994) That Council authorize the planting of sixteen 2.5 metre high Cedar trees along the north edge of the cul-de-sac in the 2500 Block of Gordon Avenue at an estimated cost of $2,540. dese : That $2,540 be allocated from Public Works Special Capital Reserve fund for this : purpose. The residents of the strata development at Regal Gardens in the 2500 Block of Gordon Avenue are requesting that the City plant evergreen trees along the northem boundary of the existing cul-de-sac at the east end of Gordon Avenue in order to reduce the noise from traffic on the Lougheed Highway. As noted in the attached memorandum dated April 21, 1994 from the Project Technician, it is estimated that it will cost $2,540 to plant sixteen 2.5 metre high trees based on a two metre spacing between each tree.
