Rezoning Application No. 26/85 - 3425 Coast Meridian Road.

Moved by Alderman Laking:

seconded by Alderman Keryluk:

That City Council direct the Clerk's Office to prepare a bylaw
rezoning Lot 201, D.i.. 479 NWLD Plan 33220 from RS-1 to RM-*.

AND THAT this approval be subject to the applicant entering into a
covenant limiting density of the development to six suites.

Carried.
Alderman Gates voted
against the resolution.

Prior to the passage of the foregoing resolution Alderman. Gates
suggested deferral pending the Public Information Meeting regarding
Coast Meridian Commercial Development on Tuesday, December 16, 1986.

That Council ptace the recommendation in abeyance pending the
outcome of the Public Information Meeting.
Defeated.

Rezoning Application 24/86 - 2272 Leigh Square (Telephone Building)

At which time Alderman Laking left Counci! Chambers due to
possible conflict of interest.

Seconded by Alderman Stewart:

That City Council direct the Clerk's Office to prepare a bylaw
rezoning Lots 3 and 4 of Block N, DL 379. Plan 16910 NWLD from P-2 to

C-4.

AND THAT this rezoning be held at third reading stage until the
applicant show that they have made provision for off street parking to
meet the requirement for their proposed use.

Carried.
At which time Alderman Laking returned to his place at the table.
