Maple Leaf Gardens and used
his stick to conduct the crowd as
they chanted ‘We Want Shack’.

12-team (six boys, six girls)
junior basketbalt tournament on
Feb. 17 weekend saw the boys’
‘title go to Nisga’a and the girls’
crown to Kitimat.

Each side played in three-team
round-robin sections with top
teams advancing to.semi-finals.

For the girls, Kitimat won
their semi-final- over Bulkley
_ Valley’ Christian on. a 47-23
score. Hazelton earned their
berth in the final by outscoring
Thornhill 33-29.
