March 3rd, 1975 A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B. C., on March 3rd, 1975, at 7:30 p.m. His Worship Mayor J.M. Campbell, Aldermen J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, E.W. Mabbett, P.F. Ranger, M.A. Thompson, and L.M. Traboulay in attendance. Also in attendance were Chief Administrative Officer L.D. Pollock, City Clerk R.A. Freeman, City Engineer V.G. Borch, P. Eng., Planning Officer Lanson Lee, Fire Chief W.S. Wingrove, Works & Utilities Superintendent G. Ulmer, and Mrs. B.M. Aalten. ZONING PUBLIC HEARING: Zoning Publi Hearing His Worship Mayor J.M. Campbell advised the meeting the following proposed By-laws to amend the "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning By-law, 1969, No. 918" would now be considered: 1. By-law No. 1358: to rezone the West s of Tot K (Except the North B/law #1358 165 feet), Block 4, District Lot 479, Group 1, Plan 6825, New Westminster District from RM-1 (Low-Density Apartment Residential) to P-1 (Civic Institutional). This property is located on the East side of the 3300 block Sefton Street (just North of Salisbury Avenue) and it is expected that a Postal Letter Carriers' Depot will be erected on the site by the Government of Canada following com- pletion of the rezoning procedures. No one was present in opposition to the foregoing proposed Zoning By-law Amendment; however, a representative of the Government of Canada was in attendance and in answer to a query from Alderman Traboulay advised that the only changes to the project plan were the addition of more windows along the Sefton Street side of the building and the provision of six public parking spaces. Alderman Traboulay, as Chairman of the Design Panel, advised that the design cf the building would be reviewed by that Committee in the next short while. 2. By-law No. 1359: to rezone the East 4s of Lot K (except the North B/law #1359 165 feet), Block 4, District Lot 479, Group 1, Plan 6825, New Westminster District from RS-1 (One-Family Residential) to C-2 (Neighbourhood Commercial).
