The owners were in the process of moving in when the fire broke out. $1,200 damage to a car caused from an electric short, $200 damage to a home when children playing with matches lighted an ornamental tree on fire which in turn ignited the house. No damage resulted from a nunber of small fires ignited by vandals in a house under construction. ‘ i i i i H i | H i we had a fire in a construction shack on Mary Hill, possibly started by children. Two flooded oi2 burners with no damage resulting. 16 grass or stump fires in which most were started by persons unknown, we had a number of fires in stumps and bush in the vicinity of the Poco Trail in the ecology area, 43 inhalator calls:~ 21 home emergencies consisting of heart attacks, strokes, bad falls, bed cute, infected ear, punctured car drum, emphysema, epiliptic seizures and asthma ettacks, Treated a man who collapsed in a cafe, a lady who fell at the Rec centre, a lady who fell on the sidewalk, 2 school children who had accidents at school, a hockey player with injured shoulder, 8 motor vehicle accidents and overdoses. ete a ee nee Two industrial accidente:< a lady collapsed and was injured at Scott Poultry and & young man who lost his arm in an accident at the C.P.R, One of the firemen reported being off sick will be off for about 6 weeks with a broken leg received in a nlotorcycle accident, For inspections, see attached sheet, WSW/esc CoG.
