THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM The Minister of Municipal Affairs, Province of Sritish Columbia. The Petition of the City of Port Coquitlam HUMBLY SHOWETH: That the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam has by Bylaw No. 2026 cited as the "Toronto/UIlster Lane Closure Bylaw, 1984, No. 2026" stopped up and closed to traffic a certain portion of Lane therein ‘described; That the said Bylaw No. 2026 of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquittam was reconsidered, finally passed and adopted by the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam on the 9th day of April, 1984 and a duly certified copy is attached hereto; That the registered-‘owners of all the adjoining and contiguous lands have consented to the closure of the said portion of Lane described in the said Bylaw No. 2026 and The Corporation of the City of Port Coquiti!am has agreed to accept title to the land comprising the same; ; That it is no longer necessary to use the portion of lane described in the said Bylaw No. 2026 as part of the road system of the City and it is the desire of the of the Council of the said City to transfer title to the land comprising the same to the owners of the land south of the closed Jane at the price of $335.90 per square metre which, in the opinion of Council, represents fair market value; the said transfer taking place upon completion of the statutory procedures required therefor. . That by resolution dated the 9th day of Apri!, 1984 the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam authorized the presentation of a Petition to the Minister of Municipal Affairs praying for the abandonment of the portion of Lane.described in the said Bylaw No. 2026 so stopped up and closed to traffic; THEREFORE your Petitioner humbly prays for the abandonment of the said portion of Road described in Bylaw No. 2026 of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquittam and the vesting of titie to the land comprising same in The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam.
