SUBJECT: Construction of Storage Addition to Rec Center -
Parks and Recreation Committee, March 30th, 1983

RECOMMENDATION:

‘That Council approve the capital cost of. $16,000 for
the City's share of the construction of a storage addition ta:
the Rec Center for use by the P.C.A.A-A. au

BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:

: This item, which was included in the Capital Budget
request was referred back to the Parks and Recreation Committee
for discussion with the P.C.A-AcA.. P.C.A.A.A. have now.
approved their share of the cost which. is approximately $19,000
‘and isto cover the cost of materials. The City's share.is to.
cover the cost of labour for the construction of the addition.

The addition will provide five storage rooms, each 12
feet by 14 feet, for use by members of P.C.A.A-A.-

me The Committee recommends that Council approve this
Budget item in advance of the Fit al. Budget so that -work can.
start as soon as convenient.
