A regular meeting of the Muntelpal Council of The Corporation of
the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam

City Wall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B,C, on August 25th,

1980 at 7:30 p.m,

His Worship Mayor G.R. Laking, Aldermen M.D: Gates, Jol. Keryluk,
E.W. Mabbect and M.R. Wright in attendance,

Also in attendance were City Clerk R.A. Freoman, City Engineer FYE,
Peters, P. Eng., Asalistant City Engineer L. Melnechenko, P, Eng., City
Planner L. Lee, City Treasurer J.6.5, Maitland, Fire Chief W.S. Wingrove

and Mrs. DL. Vyse,

To rezone the easverly portion of Block 3 of Distrdet Lat 380,
Group 1, Plan 1106 Except: firstly, Pareel "A" (Explanatory Plan 15666);
recondly, Part subdivided by Pian 31302 and; thirdly, Part subdivided by
Plan 32530, New Westminster Distriet from A-] to RS«1,

The City Planner then explained the proposed resoning stating chat
the property ia iecated at 2402 Glenwood Avenue Ceast of Morrill Street
and woat of the Coquitlam River) and it is expected thar nine ningle
family residential jots will be created following completion of the
rezoning procedures,

Mr. N. Sargent, 1325 Thomas Street, Coqattlam, B,C, owner of property
te the seuth of the proponed rerzeanipy exprensed coneern regarding the
drainage dn the area,

Nayor Laking advised the Engineering Department would be lyoking
inte the problem of drainaye.
