From the Environmental Protection Committee, March lith, 1976, wre '76 Budget-SPCA reporting on a meeting with Mr. Jack Homes of the ยง.P.C.A. to discuss the 1976 Budget and submitting the 1976 Preliminary Budget for the Coquitlam Shelter Operation. It was noted in the report that the net amount to be raised from the three municipalities participating in the 5.P.C.A. operation is $54,427. of which Port Coquitiam's share, based on the Simon Fraser Health Unit formula basis is 23.75% or $12,926.41; however, with commitments to date, if the proposed Budget increases are included together with the contribution of $5,000. to the Spay & Neuter Clinic and the 80% share of licence sales which is passed on to the S.P.C.A. under its contract, the total amount required for the 1976 Budget will be $25,000. and the replacement of the Incinerator has still not been dealt: with.
