Qur new Gallery iz named "Gallery of B.C. Ceramics" and
has been open since August 3, 1985. It is already showing
some promising aspects. First of all, many petters and
artists are excited about it and encouraged to work. CGus-
tomers are enjoying and buying. Comments from everyone
coming to the Gallery are very good and encouraging. In
spite of short notice and the holiday season, many volun-
teers came to help to open a beautiful gallery, in little
time and minimum expense.

TI want to establish ao gallery of high standards and diver-
sity and I don't expecteveryone to Like everything they
will see. Over thirty people are already represented and
I hope many more will contact us for selection. Phone or

The Gallery is a little over 1,000 sq.ft. and consists of
two areas - Exhibition and General Display. The first
exhibition starts September 16 and six shows are already
booked before the Xmas Sale, Exhibitions are

every two weeks. January and February 1986 are planned
for special 'theme' shows, and we are now booking for
exhibitions commencing March 3.

The Gallery is open Tuesday - Sunday, 10.30 a.m. to 5, 30
p.m. Come along and see your Gallery.

I want to congratulate the Executive of the Potters Guild
for making this Gallery possible. What an exciting
project for our 30th Anniversary!
