B Pretty Summer Wedding
At Knox United Church _

A mid-afterncon wedding cere-
mony took place in Knox United
Church on July 15, when Richard
Wayne Prest of Terrace, took as
his bride, Dianne Charlotte, daugh-
ter of Mr, and Mrs. Ed Wulff of
Terrace.

The Reverend Mr.
conducted the ceremony.

Glen M. Westover was best man
and ushers were Dale Prest, bro-
ther of the graom, Neil Turner,
William Turner, Robert Turner,
all brothers of the bride, and Jack
French.

During the signing of the regis-
ter, Mr. ©. R. “Red” Baxter sang
the traditional wedding sclo, “Be-
cause,” .

Given in marriage by her father,
the bride was radiant in a floor
length bouffant gown of imported
Chantilly lace. Her tripletiered
lace chapel veil ‘was held in place
with a dainty tlara of seed pearls

- and sequins, She carried.:a white
prayer book with orchid and rose-
buds attached . . whey,

- Matron of honor was the bride's
sister, Mrs, Irene. Carleton who
selected a floor length gown. of
pink face over taffeta, with ac-
cessories entone and a bouquet
of tinted gladioll. _ Bridesmaids,

Following the ceremony, a re-
ception was held in the Terrace
Ukrainian Hall where the bride’s
mother greeted guests in a three
piece ensemble of cranberry feat-
ruing ‘white accessories, The
froom’s mother and grandmother
assisted in the receiving line,

with white accessories.

The head table was centred with
a four tiered wedding cake, adorn-
with pink roses and flanked by

wedding breakfast were the ladies
of the Royal Canadian Legion
Auxiliary.

Following the reception the
bride donned a pink travelling
suit with white straw hat and. ac-
eessories before she and ‘her
groom left on a honeymoon trip
to California.

Qut of town guests for the wed-
ding were Mr. and Mrs. Alfred
Timms and family of Prince Rup-
ert; Mrs. Gladys Johnston (grand-
mother of the groom): from. Chil-
liwack; Mr. and Mre, James..Scott
