March 15th, 1976 had been contacted by the clearing firm contractor and advised that the logs were going to Scott Paper and that the stumps would be hauled away; however, he stated was unaware when he submitted his bid for the work that the City had restrictions on burning and removal of trees. Alderman Keryluk pointed out that as the debris to be burned is mostly cottonwood, granting the permit would be authorizing the burning of cottonwood, and he suggested that the contractor be given an opportunity to haul the cottonwood away in order to exclude this aspect from the application. Moved by Alderman Keryluk:; Seconded by Alderman Traboulay: That the application from H. & T Kwast Construction to clear by burning property located at the South-east corner of Hastings and Davies, legally described as Lot 91, of a Plan of Subdivision in process, be tabled for one week. Carried. Aldermen Ranjer and Traboulay voted against the resolution. Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution, Alderman Traboulay inquired what kind of trees were intended to be burned and the applicant, Mr. Wayne, who was in attendance at the meeting, advised that the debris was mostly stumps that had been on the property for years. Mr. Wayne further pointed out that some developers just clear readways and leave the debris on the lots; however, this particular piece of property is ‘going to be completely cleared sce that no burning will be required on the lots created. f C.H.Grant-2420 Moved by Alderman Laking: : Burns Rd. 4 (Burning — Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: { Permit) That the application from Mr. C.H.
