RECOMMENDATION :

That the Municipal Clerk be instructed to prepare a Bylaw to amend
Schedule "B" of the “Official Community Plan Bylaw, 1993, No. 2848" to
incorporate the land use changes as outlined in Appendix I of the report from
the Director of Planning dated January 5, 1994.

BACKGROUND:

On January 10, 1994 Council received the enclosed report dated January 5,
1994.

At the request of the Parks and Recreation Department, the report was
deferred for consideration of the future use of "Nacht Park". Although it has
not been possible to organize a joiut meeting of the two committees, it is
evident that the recommendation in the attached report, dated January 5, 1994,
is not supported by the Parks and Recreation Committee.

The position of the Parks and Recreation Committee is explained in the
attached memorandum dated January 25, 1994 from the Parks and Recreation
Director. .
