The Public Works Committee at the October 15, 1991 Committee Meeting
considered your letter, dated September 6, 1991 fegatding approval to place fill, construct a
retaining wall, and place landscape material for a distance of approximately 13 feet on the road
right of way at 1274 Chelsea Avenue.

As the Committee felt that this encroachment would interfere with the maintenance

and construction of public services in the road right of way, the approval for the encroachment
was denied. | :

You are therefore requested to remove the encroachment. At this point, any appeal
to the Public Works Committee’s decision would have to be directed to the City Council.
