THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM MEMGRANDUM B. R. Kirk DATE: January 18, 1990 City Administrator T. M. Chong City Engineer Discharge of Statutory Right~-Of-Way, Lot 34 Meridian Industrial Park Phase 3B (Public Works Committee Meeting, January 16, 1990) Recommendation: That the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to execute the attached Discharge of Statutory Right-of-way on Lot 34 of the Meridian Industrial Park. Background and Comments: A number of years ago when the City joined the G.V.S.D.D., the City gave up its interest in a sewer outfall which discharged into the Pitt River via the old Canfor Property. When this occurred, the statutory right-of-way for this sewer outfall was, unfortunately, left in favour of the City. G.V.S.D.D. staff has recently contacted us and requested that the City discharge the existing statutory right-of-way over their sewer outfall in order that they can proceed with the registration of a new right-of-way over the sewer. The Committee supports this. request. “Re / i KAW T.M. Chong, City Engineer TMC:ge attachments (2)
