Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution, Alderman Laking referred to the cost of bussing children to such a facility, and he stated he felt this problem has to be resolved prior to consideration thereof. Alderman Thompson stated he was opposed to the recommendation as he felt the cost per square foot of including such a facility in the Marathon development would be exhorbitant.
