undertake various planning, coordinationg and man-
agement tasks.

JOB DESCRIPTION |

Under the direction of the Terrace Kitimat Partners far
Salmonids committee, and the General Manager of
16/37, the Coordinator will be responsible for coor-
dination and fiaison with all community groups and
agencies involyed in Fisheries, do research, plan-
ning, organizational and proposal writing for
Fisheries programs and strategies. Work with the
TKPS committee and other staff members in develop-
ment of administrative, financial reports and organ-
izational programs. Work with the TKPS and all com-
munity partners to enhance the establishment and
development of fish strategies for the region.

QUALIFCATIONS

The person we seek must be highly motivated, an
enthusiastic self-starter and be able to work in
changing situations with a variely of people and iter-
ests. Strong interpersonal and coping skills are
essential. Must have the ability to work effectively
with a volunteer Board and work under the General
Manager along with other staff members on a Team
Concept basis, Communication and computer skills
are definitely required. A Bachelor of Science
degree, diploma or related work experience in the
natural resources field fequatic/ fish resources pre-
ferred) or other related fields would definitaly be an

asset.
