On October 9th, Herbert Calder plead guilty in Ter- race court to sexually as- sulting a seven-year-old boy in Greenville two years ago. He was also found guilty of sexual intercourse with a person under the age of 14. Judge T.P. 9 Warren sentenced Calder to two years, Minus one day for the assault, and one year for sex with a minor — to be run conscculively. Calder was also sentenced to three years of probation. He will be required to attend sex offender programs, ab- stain from alcohol consump- tion, submit to breathalizer tests on demand, and he is not to be in the presence of children under the age of 16 during that time. , kkk A GITWINKSIHLKW man, convicted of sexual assault three years ago, has been convicted of another sexual assault. 47-year-old Bryan Walter ' Squires was sentenced in Terrace court on October 11, receiving nine months in jail for a sexual assault com-: mitted in 1993, He was also given two years probation. Three years ago, Squires was convicted of one count of sexual assault and one count of indecent assault with a male.
