That: the Adult-.Swim rate be amended to $1.50.

Carried.
Aldermen Muldoon and Wright voted against the resolution.
The question was then called on the resolution as amended.

That the rates for room rentals be changed to an hourly rate rather
than the present structure;
That the following rate structure category be adopted for room rentals:
Charge
Charges Waived Nil
Nominal Rental Charge 50% of Basic
Basic Charge
Commercial 150% of Basic;
That the room rental rates be adopted as in attached Schedule "A";

That all admission rates to the pool and arena be increased by $010 as

indicated in Schedule "B" but that the Adult Swim rate be increased to

$1.50;
AND THAT all user charges for the ice and dry floor by sports groups
increased by 6% as indicated in Schedule "C".

Seconded by Alderman Vater:

That the senior soccer field on McLean Park be closed indefinitely.

Alderman Wright suggested that the report be deferred until a report
was prepared by the City Engineer on the condition of McLean Park and Mayor
Traboulay ruled that it would be deferred until a report was prepared for
the regular Council meeting to be held on November 29th, 1982 and that the

field would be closed until that time.
