Brown Director of Planning 1136 Settlers Court, Lot 30 Development Variance Permit File 19/89 RECOMMENDATION: THAT City Council direct the Clerk's Office to inform surrounding property owners of this application and to place a resclution on a subsequent agenda of Council to approve the application AND THAT the Zoning Bylaw No. 2240 Section 802, RS-2 Small Lot Residential, Secticn (5) Rear Yard Setback be relaxed by 1.5 metres from 7.5 metres to 6 metres for a window bay for Lot 30, Plan 79870, D.L. 344, Grp 1. MMENTS: This application is to permit a large bay containing a window at the back of a new house to be constructed in the latest phase af the Genstar subdivision. The application is being submitted because the window is connected to the foundation. If the bay was not connected it would be granted an overhang encroachment under the bylaw. The house is being constructed in a new section of Genstar, the same builder also has the lot behind the one in question. As no one will be affected by this application, approval is recommended.
