THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM The Minister of Municipal Affairs, Province of British Columbla. The Petition of the City of Port Coquitlam HUMBLY SHOWETH: That the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam has by Bylaw No. 2280 cited as the "Prairie Avenue (1100 Block) Road Closure Bylaw, 1987, No. 2280" stopped up and closed to traffic a certain portion of lane therein described; ; That the said Bylaw No. 2280 of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was reconsidered, finally passed and adopted by the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam on the 8th day of June, 1987 and a duly certified copy is attached hereto; _ That the registered owners of all the adjoining and contiguous lands have consented to the closure of the said portion of Lane described in the said Bylaw No. 2280 and The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam has agreed to accept title to the land comprising the same; That it is no longer necessary to use the portion of lane described in the said Bylaw No. 2280 as part of the read system of the City and it is the desire of the Counci! of the City to obtain title to the land comprising the same in order that it may be offered for sale at an upset price of $2.00 per square foot. That by resolution dated the 8th day of June, 1987 the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam authorized the presentation of a Petition to the Minister of Municipal Affairs praying for the abandonment of the portion of lane described in the said Bylaw No. 2280 so stopped up and closed to traffic; oo THEREFORE your Petitioner humbly prays for the abandonment of the said portion of lane described in By!aw No. 2280 of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam and the vesting of title to, the land comprising same In The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam.
