FROM: Doug Madden, Area Coordinator of Emergency Measures SUBJECT: Disaster Site Identification Kits ee ee EE The Regional Emergency Ptanning Committee, formed of Area” Coordinators and Provincial Emergency Personel, formed a special sub-committee in 1983 to review the extent to which municipalities in the G.V.R.-O.- should adopt uniform identificaqtion for use in response to a major emergency. The Committee recommended that kits consisting of arm bands and vests be purchased with municipal or provinclal monies. At the Annual Coordinators Conference in October 1984, It was decided, by ali Area Coordinators present, to proceed this year with the purchase of these kits with municipal money and then apply for a possible provincial refund. cia ek Re te } have caiculated that the Port Coquitlam kit should consist of the following.
