the extent of the work until he gets into it. It would be an advantage to’
know where we stand on the west side of the river aswell and I believe that
some private owners on the west side of the river are having similar work

carried out by Mr. Goudal and, therefore to protect our interests, we should

be involved.

I would like to authorize Mr. Goudal to proceed with this work on the
understanding that it will be in the $2,500. range and if it is necessary to
spend more to complete the work on the west side of the river, I will report

back to ‘Council.
