Se eee meee ao i aiid Andrew Mile passes on YVONNE MOEN MANY FRIENDS were saddened to hear of the siidden death of Andrew Mile who had just - recently celebrated his 86th birthday, He was born Feb. 16, 1908 in Kennedy, Saskatchewan. Mr. Mile passed away on March 7, 1994, Mr. Mile was honoured locally “by having a street named after him. Mile Place is a new cul-de- sac in the West Ridge Estate sub- division. ‘ -At the time of his death, Mr. - Mile was living at Twin River Estates, Funeral services were held March 11 at the Elks hall with Mr. Amold Blonke and Mr. ‘Harold Scheck officiating. (George) Hamer Music. was by Rusty Ljungh and a quartet of Harold Scheck, Gordon Schuss, Joan Schuss and Linda Perry sang. The pallbearers were Mr. Mile’s six grandsons — Alan, Ed and Jerry Haugland and Russell and Roger Hamer and Mark Pongracz. Burial followed at the Terrace municipal cemetery and there was areception at the Elks hall. Andrew Mile is survived by three daughters — Lillian (Wilfred) Haugland, Margaret and Sarah (Frank) Pongracz. Mr. Mile also leaves 10 grand- children, 18 great grandchildren and one great great grandson and many fiends.
