AS supplementary information, the Public Works Committee is currently
consicering the implementation of «- three hour parking restriction on hastings
Street between the hours of 8:00 GoM. 50 6:00 o.m. From the Lougheed Highway
sO Kitchener. Once the necessary input has been obtained from the adjoining
residents, the Committee wil] forward a recommendation tc Council. Also, at
the last Committee meeting the R.C.M.P, agreed to conduct more enforcement
against truck Grivers who illegally obstruct Hastings north of the Lougheed
while off-loading vehicles. As requested ky the resicents, City crews Will
also be painting a solid line along the center line of Hastings Street during
its annual line painting operations later this year.
