RECOMMENDATION :

That City Council authorise the applicant to operate a nursery school
containing up to 15 children.

COMMENTS :

1) In the RS-1 Zoning District, there is special provision for Group Day
Care and Nursery Schools containing more than five children up to 25
children. That provision is that larger operations can be operated
with the approval of City Council. It should be noted that less than
five children are a permitted use without any conditions attached.

2), The applicant has met the Simon Fraser Board of Health requirements and
. has circulated a petition for support among the neighbours. In view of
the above, this report is recommending that City Council authorise this

school to operate with up to 15 children.
