WHEREAS by Bylaw No. 2018 of The Corporation of the City of Port

Coquitlam cited as the "Rae Street Lane (Plan 2102) Road Closure Bylaw,
1984, No. 2018" a certain portion of Lane therein described located in

the City of Port Coquitlam in the Province of British Columbia: was
stopped up and closed to traffic;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk of The
ration of the City of Port Coquitlam be authorized to petition the
Minister of Municipal Affairs of the Province of British Columbia
praying on behalf of the City for abandonment of the said portion of
Lane described in Bylaw No. 2018 and the vesting of the title of the
land comprising the same In The Corporation of the City of Port

Coquitlam.

That the Federal Government be requested to seek the Canadian
Electorate's opinion by holding a National Nuclear Disarmament
Referendum at the next Federa| Election similar to those that have been

held In many Canadian Munictpalities.
