Re: R.C.M.P. Traffic Report Summary

Please find attached a memorandum dated January 22nd,
1976 from the Engineering Technician. It is interesting to
note that almost 30% of the accidents occurred on the Lougheed
Highway (10% at the Shaughnessy - Lougheed intersection) and
-another 10% of the accidents occurred on the secondary highway.

Re: Mental Health Staff Parking & Probation Officers Parking

Please find attached copies of the following corres-
pondence:

Letter dated January 13th, 1976 from the Senior
Probation Officer,
Letter dated January 14th, 1976 from the City Clerk.

Letter dated January 13th, 1976 from the Administrator/
Director of the Simon Fraser Health Unit.

Letter dated January 16th, 1976 from the City Clerk.
The Committee cannot recommend that these requests for
parking stalls be granted. The Committee feels that there is
presently a shortage of one hour and two hour parking and as has

been done in-the past attempts will be made this year to increase
the amount of this needed parking.
