Mayor and Aldermen April 19th, 1974 To From: Alderman E.W. Mabbett - HM aouee ---4- G G ; mee APR 2 2 | vf The following recommendations are set forth hereunder for Council's consideration: 1. Install regulation parking signs on the South side of McAllister Avenue West of Shaughnessy Street. Commuters are parking all day and taking up valuable space (see map attached). 2. Improve the bus stop on Coquitlam Avenue East of Flint Street (alongside the drug store) - the road shoulder is in poor shape (see map attached). 3. Request the Department of Highways to improve the road shoulder from the {ba Scott Greek bridge East to the C.P.R. crossing entering the City of Port Coquitlam and install "No Parking" signs along that side so that City people can get into the downtown area when the Lougheed Highway-C.P.R. crossing is blocked with traffic back west towards Scott Creek (see map attached). Request the Post Office to install a suitable garbage container in the area of the stamp machine ~- garbage is scattered all around that area. Request that the City Engineer have garbage containers installed in the area of the bus stops on McAllister Avenue ~ 1 near the bowling alley - and the other near the park West of the City Hall entrance. Respectfully submitted, Alderman E.W. HMabbett. attachment.
