The hall was crowded and the show caused roar after roar of Jaugh- ter. The Society got $30 as its share of the proceeds. As soon as tue hall could be cleaned out the dance was‘on and for the third time that day the building was crowd. It was late when the first waltz was played,. but everyone had dance enough by three o’clock. The music for the dance and also in‘the after- noon was supplied by Grey’s or- ehestra. At midnight refresh- ments were served and then A.A. ‘Connon mounted the platform. and auctioned the flowers from the afternoon show. The bids went from 25c to $5.00 with Hana Olson and Austin Goodenough of Smithers as the chief buyers.
