A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of the Corporation of The City
of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall,

2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on Monday, March 12, 1990, at
7:30 p.m.

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay, Aldermen M.C. Farnworth, M.D. Gates,
J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, M.R. Wright and W.W. Stewart, in attendance.

Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Clerk R.A.
Freeman, City Engineer T.M. Chong, Parks and Recreation Director K.J. Taylor,
and City Treasurer J.G. Maitland.

That the minutes of the Public Hearing and Regular Council meeting held on
March 5th, 1990 and the Special Council meeting held on March 7th, 1990, be
taken as read and adopted.

Carried.

SPECIAL PRESENTATION:

The Port Coquitlam Area Women's Centre presented to Council a plaque in
recognition of the City's assistance and support. to the Port Coquitlam Area
Women's Centre since 1975. :

From the City Engineer, March 8th, 1990 regarding Purchase of Sub-Compact
Vehicles — Building Department.

Moved by Alderman Laking:
Seconded by Alderman Gates:

1. That the tender for the purchase of three Sub-Compact Vehicles for the
Building Department be awarded to Summit Motors Limited in the amount of
$29,882.46.

2. That this purchase be funded as follows:

a) The new vehicle for the Director of Building Fermits and Inspections
be funded from the 1990 Building Department Capital Account.

b) The two replacement vehicles for the Building Department be funded
from the Public Works Equipment Reserve Account.
