BACKGROUND: Several years ago the Coquitlam Sand approached the City about development on the reserve and the feasibility of building a gelf course. For @ number of reasons,. the development did not Proceed beyond the creation of a lot under separate title for development. The current Proposal {Is to be located on that lot. COMMENTS: 1) The development concept being proposed is. a {27 untt mobile court. Like similar Projects in the Westbank area near Keiowna the development is to be carried out and operated by a private firm on a bare land tease basis. 2) Port Coquittam's role in this development is restricted +o } its Providing community services (eg. utilities, ‘recreation, police and school) to the devetfopment. {¢ City oo.
