That the City's assessment option for 1983
be reviewed in the 'all.

Seconded by Alderman Wright:

That the U.B.C.M. be requested to ask the
Province to review its recent action with
respect to assessment and taxation that have
substantially increased the share of municipal
taxes paid by businesses.

Carried.

Alderman Wright suggested that the Finance
Committee prepare a resolution respecting
assessment and taxation for the 1982 U.B.C.M.
Convention and Mayor Traboulay suggested a
seminar on this subject at the U.B.C.M.

Convention.

NEW BUSINESS:

Alderman Gates expressed concern regarding
the parking at the Aggie Grounds and stated in
his opinion this needs attention at night. and
suggested that the Bylaw Officer go out at

night.
