December Ist, 1975 A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council chamber, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitiam, B. C., on December Ast, 1975 at 7:30 p.m. Acting-Mayor Alderman L.M. Traboulay, Aldermen J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, E.W. Mabbett, and M.A. Thompson in attendance. Also in attendance were Chief Admiristra¢ive Jificer L.D. Pollock, City Clerk R.A. Freeman, City Enginecr V.G. Borch, P. Eng., City Planning Officer Lanson Lee, Senior Building Inspector N. Chernoff, Works & Utilities Superintendent G, Ulmer, and Mrs. B.M. Aalten. CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES: Moved by Alderman Keryluk: Minutes ~ Nov. 24/75 Seconded by Alderman Laking: That the minutes of the regular meeting of this Council held on November 24th, 1975, be taken as read and adopted. Carried. Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution, Alderman Mabbett drew attention to lines 9-11 on Page 5 of the November 24th, 1975 minutes wherein his inquiry with respect to the landscaping of the proposed Warehouse/ Industrial project on property bounded by McLean Avenue, Brown Street, Ryan Street, and Marshail Avenue, and the response made by Alderman Thompson reads as follows: "Alderman Mabbett inquired at which stage of the development the landscaping would be done and Alderman Thompson advised it would be carried out at the same time as the development." and on his advice that in discussing the matter with Alderman Thompson, his understanding that the intent of the response should have been stated more explicitly, viz: ",,...and Alderman Thompson advised that the landscaping of the total back section and ali of the berm would be undertaken during Phase 1 of the development." was affirmed, members of Council generally agreed that the minutes should be amended accordingly. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: From the Senior Building Inspector, November 27th, 1975, advising Sr.Bldg. Insp. re amend.- that the Building & Protection Committee had recommended that the City's Bldg.& Plumb. Code Adm.B/la Building & Plumbing Code Administration By-law be amended to provide for ~increase- plumbing per- an increase in plumbing permit rates from $4.00 for the installation of mit rates one fixture; $3.50 for each additional fixture up to ten; and $3.00 for each additional fixture over ten to $6.00 a fixture up to ten and $5.50 a fixture thereafter.
