Port Goquitlam petition the Federal Government to allow the ‘Municipal ity of Barnaby to buy back the said George: Derby land on the terms stated. Carried. Prior to the question being called on the foregoing resolution, a discuss sion ensued , and Alderman Laking stated his support thereof. Alderman Meyer | stated he aid not support the motion as Durnaby has indicated it is pursuing this matter through the courts. Alderman Ranger pointed out that Burnaby is preparias an in- junction and getting legal advice, but has not taken any action as yet His Wor- ship the Mayor advised that the same request was made to the Greater Vancouver Regional District by Burnaby and was given support.
