Dear Sir:

Thank you for your letter of November 2lst in which
you advised our Board of the desire of your council for a further

joint meeting between representatives of the three local councils,
Area "B" and our Board.

Will you please convey to the Council of the City of
Port Coquitlam or its! representatives an invitation to attend our
next regular monthly Board Meeting which, as you have observed,
will be held at the Valleyview Hospital, December 13th, commencing
at 7:30 pem. As this will be our regular monthly meeting, it will
be necessary for the Board to also conduct it's regular business,
Your Council may be assured, however, that ample time will be
allowed for full discussion and clarification of all matters of

mutual concern in respect to development and Plans for the Coquitlam
& District Hospital,

Should your Council prefer that we arrange a Special
Joint meeting with our Board and the various councils, we would
appreciate it if you would so advise us in order that we may so
arrange it with the required four days' notice to our Trustees,

A copy of this letter is also being sent to the bodies

mentioned in your Councilts resolution as an open invitation to

them also,

In order that we may avoid the inconvenience and dis=
comfort occasioned to those who attended the joint meeting of July
12th, will you please advise the writer by telephone of the approx
imate numbers you expect may attend. Both the Valleyview Auditorium
and the Conference Room are available for such meetings and we can

arrange for use of the facility most appropriate and comfortable to
those in attendance,
