-3- Public Works Comunitice Meeting of January 27, 1993 Com’d... Mike Forrest inquired about an access behind the multi-family project on Pitt River Road. The City Engineer explained that all thovgh the City has a right of way over the property it is only for a utility line not a road right of way, and that this land is privately owned. Ms. Susan King-Wilson asked Chris Fielding if he was aware, prior to moving into the neighbourhood, that Shaughnessy was going to a four-lane arterial, and suggested that the "buyer beware" note be mentioned here. She also suggested that the Shaughnessy Woods residents could focus their attention on lobbying Indian Affairs to push through the issue of the Certificate of Possessiun. Councillor Marg Gordon stated that Council has, all along, tried to come up with suggestions, and points to have this issue resolved. Council is looking for the best solution out of the all the options which has the least negative affect. Councillor John Keryluk concluded the meeting with a general summary and stated that the Public Works Committee will be meeting shortly and forwarding a recommendation to Council. The meeting adjourned at 10:00 p.m.
