BACKGROUND & COMMENTS:

Approval of the recommendation accomplishes two things:

(1) It allows for a cheque signing machine to be used on cheques of less
than $10,000. The auditor will be requested to approve the detailed
procedure to be followed to ensure that adequate financial control is

maintained. :

(2). At present, either myself or my deputy, Joan Fraser, must sign all
general cheques, this would be changed to allow the Administrator,
or Engineer to sign general cheques if Joan and I are not available.

Otherwise, the recommendation is identical to our past banking resolutions.
