Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitiam, B.C. on Monday, May 16th, 1983 at 7:30 p.m. to consider the following proposed bylaw to amend the "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning Bylaw, 1979, No. 1651": Bylaw No. 1964: to amend the text of the Zoning Bylaw to include Section 198: "19B Building Per Parcel (1) Except as provided in subsection (2), only. one building in which a dweliing unit or dwelling units are located is permitted on each lot. Whenever an owner makes application for a building permit to construct a dwelling unit on a tot in a one-family residential zone which already has a dwelling unit, and the owner makes application to the City for permission to occupy the existing. dwelling unit during the construction of the new one, it shal! be lawful to have two dwelling, units on the fot simultaneously so long as the owner: (a) first. enters an agreement .in.a form acceptable to the City covenanting to demolish. and remove the first dwelling forthwith on completion of the, second dwelling unit. ..or at the request of the Cit TY» whichever. event is earlier; and _¢b) provides security in a form satisfactory to the City in an. amount. sufficient to reimburse tke City for all costs of so doing if the City causes the first dwelting unit to be demolished and removed." This Bylaw affects all residential property in the City. A copy of the proposed bylaw and other: relevant documents may be inspected in the Office of the City Clerk, Port Coquitlam City Hal-l, .at the address given above, between the hours of 8:30. aem.e. to 4:30 pem., on regular business days, from the date of this Notice. until the Public Hearing. All persons. who deem their ‘interest in property affected by the proposed bylaw shall be afforded an opportunity to be heard ‘at the Public Hearing on matters contained in the bylaw.
