In the Spring of 1982 there was a great deal of adverse publicity
concerning the safety of Funginex sprays on blueberries.

In order to educate the public and minimize their concerns about
the safety of this product, we would like to hold a public meeting
to present the true facts about Funginex. This meeting will include
presentations by growers, the Mintstry of Agriculture, Crop Care
Avtation and the chemical companies.

To ensure that you will be able to keep Funginex as a valuable tool
in the production of your crop, we need your help and participation.
We are asking you to contact the households bordering your farm and
to invite them to this informative meeting. So that we will have
some idea as to the number of people attending, please complete the
form below and return it to your co-op as soon as possible.

The meeting is scheduled for January 25, 1983 - 7:00 p.m. at the
B.C. Blueberry Co-op, 5400 #6 Road, Richmond.
