he is understandably concerned this will put him to additional expense
and difficulty. Alderman Ranger expressed concern that mature trees
will have to be removed on the lane allowance; however, Alderman Laking

pointed out that only those in the way will be removed. The applicant,

Mr. E., McDaniel, spoke to the proposed subdivision, and advised that on

the initial 24 lots, approximately $40,000.00 was spent for improvement
along Prairie Avenue, the widening of Regina, etc., and that it was
anticipated a further $20,000.00 would be spent for the balance of the
lots. Mayor Campbeli commented that if the developer is required to
construct Regina Street, he will add that expense to the selling price
of the houses in the proposed subdivision. Alderman Ranger stated that
as a result of his previous actions in regard to this development, he
would be voting in favour of the resolution proposed.

that it has again considered a frontage exemption request for the proposed
Subdivision of Sketch 8777 and Lot 3, Plan 15843, D.L. 4, Township 39 as
instructed at the May 3rd, 1976 Council meeting; also, the proposed sale of
of City-owned property with dimensions of 50' x 66! situated
East of Patricia Avenue to the developer for $2,500.00 as set in 1974,
and recommending the sale thereof at a price of $1.50 per square foot or
$4,950.00, as the developer has agreed to purchase the property, dedicate
it as roai, and construct the road.

That the developer of a proposed subdivision of Sketch 8777 and
3, Plan 15843, DL. 4, Township 39, be granted a frontage exemption
therefor as requested in a memorandum from the City Engineer, April
20th, 1976, Carried,

That as recommended in a report from the Community Development
Comnittee, May 6th, 1976, a small piece of City-owned property with
dimensions of S0' x GA" situated East of Patricia Avenue, be sold to Liedtke
Construction Ltd., the developer of a proposed subdivision of Sketch
8777 and Lot 3, Plan 15843, D.L. 4, Township 39, at a price of $1.50 per
square foot or $4,950.00, with the developer to dedicate the said property

as road and to construct the road so dedicated. Carried.
