Alderman Ranger expressed concern that mature trees will have to be removed on the lane allowance; however, Alderman Laking pointed out that only those in the way will be removed. The applicant, Mr. E., McDaniel, spoke to the proposed subdivision, and advised that on the initial 24 lots, approximately $40,000.00 was spent for improvement along Prairie Avenue, the widening of Regina, etc., and that it was anticipated a further $20,000.00 would be spent for the balance of the lots. Mayor Campbeli commented that if the developer is required to construct Regina Street, he will add that expense to the selling price of the houses in the proposed subdivision. Alderman Ranger stated that as a result of his previous actions in regard to this development, he would be voting in favour of the resolution proposed.
