The library accepts responslollity for securing information beyond ite own resources by borrowing materials which it does not own, and which cannot be purchased, or for which the denand does not Justify purchase, The liprazy will, in turn, loen material to other libraries as requested, This conmittee recognizes that no Single library can meet all the demands of its community. Libraries in different political sub-divisions working together, sharing their services and resources, can meet more nearly the full needs of their users. This committee and the Librarian, therefore will be alert to oppor tunities for co-operation with other libraries to Strengthen the services and the resources of the library, The Library will endeavor to maintain a "balance! in ita services. The library will co-operate with, but cannot perform the functions of scheol libraries or other Institutional lipraries which are designed primarily to meet curricular needs, Library service will be provided during the hours 2 which best meet the needs of the community. Perlodic reviews of library service will be made to determin whether the needs of ‘the community indicate that the present services should be modified and new services added. LIBRARY MATERIALS l. 3e The library will provide, either by purchase or through co-operation with other libraries, matertala which will help neet ite objectives. Materials nay include books, periodicals, panphiets, newspapers, pictures, slides, microrilme, recordings, cassettes, maps, music scores, films, ete. Materials acauired will meet high standards of quality in content, expression and format. Materials which are no longer useful in the light ef slated objectives will Systenatically be weeded fron the collection. Such materials will be discarded,
