This prozram will be the vehicle for better communication be- tween families and school. To answer the questions a) what happens to children during the time after their parents leave for work and before school starts? Bb) What henvens to children between 3:15 oem. and the time their parents arrive home from work? The above three individuals will work towards working themselves out of a job during the period January Ist, 1974, to June 30th, 1974. They will assist in the develonment of the methods and limes of communication necessary for ongoing activities. The activities need not be confined to the school. The Recreation Co-ordinator 2 can make use of the scnool on week-en2s but as well he/she could use the surrounding mountains, rivers, etc. The majority of equipment and suvplies necessary are available at the school. Eauipment thas cannot be provided by the school will be provided by the "users", To ensure ongoing vrozrams and usefulness to other areas, records will be kept by the community school co-ordinator in the form of written reports and evaluations by the three hired persons. Some questions need answers: a) Can volunteers or L.I.P. persons suvervise programs in the school or away from the school during week-ends or at any other time when a board employee is not present? The school may sponsor some of the vrocrans. Wao is held resnonsible for the actions of the L.I.P. persons? Vnat would the liability be to; L.I.>. serson, school, school board or community, if there were an accident?
